Anyone use their Nintendo DS via WIFI?

The DS can only do WEP or lower....what gives....

I dont want to open up my wpa2 network security to play mario kart online. Theres gotta be another way?

Nope. Just use a friggin wep key. Chances are there are 5 unsecured networks nearby to you that a war driver would much prefer to use, as opposed to spending time actually doing packet insertion to crack your wep key.

I haven't set this up myself yet, but I've heard that if you set up a second router you should be able to run a decent DS-only WEP connection. Block the lower 1024 outbound TCP ports, and turn on MAC address filtering; if anyone manages to get past the WEP and the filtering, they still can't connect to many things that are useful.
