they have really good deals on LCD HDTV's all the time, but they are from stupid manufacturers like WestingHouse and Scott

also, they are all refurbs

just seeing if anyone's had luck in the past

The resellerratings for it seem to feature the same thing:

The refurbs are all broken, used, things that are sent to the new customer without even being cleaned up. When the customer tries to return said broken thing, they have to buy a new one BEFORE they can send the old one back.

Bought a bluetooth headset for $25 which normally sells for $99 elsewhere. Was an OEM (I knew it was before purchasing it)
Came quickly and works perfectly fine.

Not bad in terms of prices over there. Nothing will ever beat my 32 inch Astar LCD for 288 shipped from Newegg though.

i'm just thinking that with somehting like an HDTV it will most likely be unwise to get a refurb off a semi-reputable site

I've had good experiences with them, altho that was 6-7 years ago. :p

I heard rebate experiences with ecost these days are horrid.

I wouldn't buy a TV from them. Only small time electronics and the like. I've purchased a few items, but I've always been a little wary of them.
