After reading a little and thinking about, I would recommend not getting one until you have benchmarks to back up the appearantly-killer price. Promise raid cards aren't even THAT much anyways. If you are a cheap bast*rd like SOMEONE i know, just mod a fasttrack 100 adapter.
I know it looks like a great deal, but if you are looking for raid 0(speed) this is not a solution I can recommend yet.
For raid 1 (mirroring) this would be ideeal for a small webserver because it is cheap. OF course it will not give you a boost at all, and MIGht make your system slower if it does all the work in software.
