Anyone use the Costco Auto Buying Program

Before anyone comes in here saying "repost," I know there's a thread on the Costco Auto Buying Program, I have it bookmarked. But the discussion in that thread was based on buying a new car, and I'm looking into buying an used car.

So has anyone used the service for that? Do you get any extra perks for having the executive membership (besides the gift certificate)?

Thanks.

I could certainly be wrong, but I think the buying program is only for new cars.
Your best bet is to figure out what type of car you want and a price range and then start looking at autotrader/cars.com/local newspapers and local dealerships and find exactly what you want.

Costco Auto program is for new cars only. Used cars, check out CarMax online if there's one in your area if you're interested in no haggle. If you want to haggle, Autotrader, Cars.com, Ebay, and Craigslist are popular options. Check out Edmunds to get an idea of the used car values.

Ya got me. I couldn't remember if it was one or the other and was feeling to lazy to look it up. Now I'm too lazy to edit the post, so everyone else can have fun at my expense. 😉

And the rest of you - Costco does do used cars. I just picked up a flyer at Costco this morning about the program, and it has a page devoted to buying "factory re-certified" cars.

But I guess if nobody knows that, then nobody's used the services. Thanks anyway.
