I was trying to use DiskAid to move images and folders from the iPad Air that I bought in early December. Unfortunately, DiskAid, which I own, doesn't support iOS 8.x, and the publisher has (since my original purchase) changed the name of the software and wants money to upgrade. Nice, huh?
So, I am looking for an optional alternative to upgrading DiskAid to iMazingLeech just to restore functionality I thought I had previously paid for.
Anyone? BTW, I had Windows 7 Autoplay setup originally as being turned off and thus I could see the iOS devices when connected and simply run the Import wizard, but I turned Autoplay back on to get file browser functionality. Something happened and this stopped working for me and frogging between Autoplay being on and off didn't help.
Why Apple finds it so evil to allow people to perform basic file management and cleanup is bewildering, but that just explains what the A in Apple stands for.
