Anyone Use Stocker Thermal Pad and Heatsink w/ Operon Overclock?

I was wondering if anyone overclocked their opteron dual core processor. I'm wondering if that will be sufficient t achieve a decent overclock. If not which part is not ok. Should i merely replace the thermal pad with paste, or do i need a new heatsink all together. This will be my first overclock so i want to make sure i don't screw it up. -Rob
