anyone use speakeasy dsl???

Speakeasy is one of the few services available in my area.

can anyone give me any personal experience on their service/policies, etc?

I had speakeasy a year or two ago at school... everything was flawless, from placing the order to having the Covad install guy come down to canceling my service, everything was a breeze. I had it when they were transitioning Northern California people to their SFO POP and that went flawless as well. Download speeds and routing were very good. I'd recommend them highly, although it does cost quite a bit. But nothing beats their service and support.

From what I heard, Speakeasy is a really great DSL providers. They are, however, a little more expensive compared to other providers. Like was suggested, check out DSLreports and you will get an idea of what they are like.

I use em, love em. Unregulated use of the line, you can run any server service you like. I run DNS, Web, Mail and SSH open to the net.
