Anyone use "Sidestep" for searching air fares?

I just read about this software that supposedly searches different booking sites (travelocity, expedia, orbitz, etc.) and allows you to compare them all side by site for the best rates. BUT, it must be installed onto your hard drive :frown: Under "Why install" the website simply goes on to say how great the product is.

Just wondering if I could get an AT'er endorsement before taking a chance.

I can't say it's an endorsement, but I just started using it a few days ago. I only start it up when I am doing travel searches. It appears to watch to see if you are at a travel-related site and based on the info you fill in on the site, it offers to search multiple sites using the same information. So if I'm at the USAirways site looking up flights, it offers to search multiple travel sites for the same dates and shows the results in a separate frame. You can sort the results by price, etc.

I turn it on when I'm doing travel searches, then close it when I'm done.
