anyone use rogaine or propecia? I fear baldness :(

I am 25 and the men in my family have quite a history of hairloss around this time in their lives. I happen to be following in their footsteps . I was thinking about trying rogaine to see if it would help, but have never actually heard and 'real' results. Same for propecia (which I am a little unsure if I would want to take anyway)

To make things worse, due to a large melon (quoting "So I Married an Axe Murderer" here), shaving my head is not an option.

Anyone have any experience with either product? Or know someone who does?

A friend of mine is using Rogaine but I don't see a difference. Maybe b/c he's only been using it for about 6 months.

I've seen some wild heads...they look like that initally, but hair is skin deep....and I've found my Friends with your 'problem' have reveled in thev 'Axe Murder' look. Chicks dig it...

I'm not laughing. I'm balding too. But I don't care. And neither does my GF. (She says it made her giggle when we first started going out - I didn't know that)

I'm not going to start with rogaine either. Once you start, you can never stop. That's an expensive habit to maintain. And Propecia is out of the question.
