Anyone use PcPitstop.com Optimizing software?

As many of you may or may not know pcpitstop.com has a battery of tests for general computer health, etc. The also have an optimization software for $29.95 that is supposed to tweak 4 or 5 different registry settings for system performance, and has a bunch of settings that they tweak for your internet settings and is supposed to boost your performance there as well. I was wondering if anyone has it, or what you think of it? Is it a waste of $30? Anything out there that does the same thing for less? Or does anyone know what these "tweaked" settings would be and where to find them to do them myself. Thanks.

I'd say its a waste of money. Do you have symptoms that have you searching for "tools" like that? Or are you just trying to increase your performance?

I'm sure its nothing more than any other tweakguide out there as far performance imrovements go. Everything else looks like spyware/av stuff.

I doubt anyone here has actually used it and if they did, they may not be willing to admit it 😛

agreed.. If there is option to chnage it don't you think MS would have left it at the better performing setting?
Sure there are some that help if you know what you are doing but nothing drastic.
