Anyone use Paypal buyer credit?

I was drooling over some stuff on ebay and I noticed that this item with hidden reserve had an ad for paypal buyer credit. Is it worth trying and can I get this item with it and pay for it in installments? Thanks for any advice!

I've used paypal buyer credit 3 times now for up to $650 purchases and never had any problems with it, though my purchases were on newegg, not Ebay. If you spend $300 or more you usually get 3 or 6 months with no interest.

If you can't afford it now why would you be able to afford it in 3 months?

It isn't THAT expensive I wouldn't think. Just the hidden reserve bit throws me off, because I never know what someone will set it at.
