What are your experiences? I just called Cingular's call center because I am going to switch from Sprint to Cingular and the gentleman did not recommend sites such as Wirefly because if I change the plan details or something the price of the phone itself will actually go up...It was rather hard to understand him, but I thought I would see what everyone thinks.

Also, I'm looking to get either the Blackjack or the Pearl from Cingular, was just curious on your thoughts. I would not use it for Data services yet, but possibly in the future and want that capability, but I am also a rather poor recent college grad in business.

Thanks for taking the time to read...

I've used wirefly and I was happy with my experience. I'd definetly use them again.

Oh, and btw, cingular's customer service is horrible. Their reps are idiots. I currently have cingular.

I used wirefly about a year and a half ago. No issues here (saved me $200).
I haven't changed my plan though, so I can't comment there.

Sounds good...I wanted to go with T-Mobile but here in Janesville WI, T-Mobile is not offering coverage. I hope to move to Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison soon though. My father has Cingular...he has been happy but really hasn't had to call anyone so couldn't comment on the reps being idiots. I'm wondering though, could wirefly be able to setup the family plan or add me to my dad's family plan. If so, that would be the way to go for me financially. Thank you for all your comments.

Wirefly's rebates are basically scams. I just got my $300 in rebates back from them after 14 MONTHS. Do a search around and you'll see all the problems. They even got sued in Arizona I believe of defrauding customers. Also, their rebates have funny terms like "Mail this form in between 90 and 120 days after you sign up". Yeah, right.

I'd never buy from them again.
