I want to try a service out again this winter break, and i was wondering if you can get Blu-ray movies with these promotions.

Thanks

You can with netflix. You sign up for the free trial, then upgrade your account to blu-ray and agree to pay the extra, but they don't charge you until your trial is over.

Netflix's blu-ray service works well, if you mail back a disc on Saturday odds are you'll get a Tuesday new release.

After that many titles switch to "short wait" and it's chance whether you'll get the disc or something lower in the queue. It took 3-4 returns before I got Terminator Salvation after I missed the release window (yes I know it's supposed to be bad).

Also try out streaming, it works well on both the 360 and PS3.

Blockbuster trials allow Blu Ray.

And they don't charge extra on their plans like Netflix. I have the $4/mo Blockbuster plan and I get blurays. And they sent me a bonus movie off my queue last week! Merry Christmas to me!
