Anyone use maya? Having a problem with my render...

After rendering a few times successfully, now I get this message with the same model :

Error: An exception has occurred, rendering aborted.

what does it mean?
 
what kind of rendering are you doing, just and IPR or movie...as with all progs SAVE often and you always have your incremetal saves folder to go back to a previous step in developement. Make sure that is set to infinite. if you are just updating colors,transparency etc..do an ipr..
