I signed up for knownhost a year ago. I created a domain for it but now I got a new domain name. How do you get rid of the old domain name or change the domain name from old to new using cPanel interface?

I submitted a ticket to knownhost support this morning but they take so long to respond. I know a few people here use knownhost so I thought I might get lucky. :D

Do you happen to have a reseller account? If not and you just have a shared account, then you'll have to wait for Knownhost to do it for you.

As peritusONE said, you'll have to wait, if you don't have a reseller/VPS/dedicated account (read: access to WHM) with them.

That said, I have a VPS account with KnownHost -- have had for several years -- and their support has always been prompt.

I've used KnownHost for over a year now at RossMAN's suggestion, and I've never used a better host before. I've had a couple of issues, and they are prompt as hell with their fixes.

Slicehost, Future Hosting, Solar VPS and KnownHost are all reputable hosts. I'm using both slicehost and future hosting now.

Agreed, I am currently using a reseller account and will probably upgrade to a VPS package at some point in the future.

If the OP has WHM access it can be done there, but I'm assuming this is a shared account.
