I dunno about the Klipsch, but I bought the Creative DTT3500 for my TV in my bedroom (I actually did run the DIN cable across the room to my SBLive, but the DTT3500s aren't my primary computer speakers.
I did it because I got the DTT3500s for $200 and that was a hell of a lot cheaper than buying a receiver and 6 speakers (including the sub). It sounds good for what I paid. Of course a REAL home theatre setup would sound better, but I've got that in my living room.
Sorry, didn't really answer your question, but methinks that it wouldn't even be possible to use the Klipsch unless your receiver had an output for each channel. And even then, how would you power your center channel? Also, your sub would not be able to get the .1 LFE channel.
More trouble than it's worth, sounds like.
