Ok, yes I'm an idiot... I don't know how to use IRC.

My friend taught me once how to use it... but have long forgotten.

Any guides on the net? I know there are certain commands that the program shows, but is there any guides telling you of what channels are good and whatnot?

channels are not good or bad really, it will just depend on what type of people you want to be around....just like real life. <at least that is how I justify it to myself>

For the past 5 years! Hang out on irc.dal.net all the time, in many of the warez/porn channels.. err no! But I hang in a few of the comp channels (#Windows98/#Windows95/#Linux). Also on cosmos.esper.net in #anime
