Anyone use IFTTT.com?

I always thought this was an interesting site, makes it easy to set up triggers from a lot of sources, and then do some action from a lot of other sources.

So far I have the daily forecast sent to me as a text every day at 8 AM. And I have any favorite tweet get copied into Pocket so I can read it later.

I'm looking for more cool "recipes" but it seems all the recommended ones revolve around social sites, which I'm not really interested in.

Anyone use it for cool stuff? I'm looking into to getting some of the home automation stuff set up, depending on what system I go with.

Use it for my wemo to control devices and get notification when motion sensor is activated

bit of a necro. but we should get this thread going again. I am using it to monitor the temp and humidity in my chicken coop. It will also control the heat from a temp sensor and light by a google calender schedule

Wemo, Honeywell wifi thermostat, sensors from wirelesstags.net.

Not yet. Planning on trying it out with my spark photon (www.spark.io) whenever they get around to shipping.
