anyone use GV with Boost Mobile?

I Googled this and found 1 guide which didn't work for me. I have GV and an Android phone which I'd like to get Google visual voicemail working on. I'm not 100% sure this even works.
 
Google Voice has the visual voicemail, but Boost isn't on it's list of supported carriers for voice mail integration. So I can't setup GV voice mail to work directly on my phone. I've never used it on any phone, but I understand it acts just like Visual Voice Mail on an iPhone on AT&T where I can see text transcripts of my voice mails, without having to go the GV web page. I have 1x internet so going to a web site so slow it's not really usable. I have the GV app on my Android but I cannot set up the voice mail directly with no Boost support.

I'm thinking there should be a way around this. Right now with the app I get any texts to my GV number (which I don't use for texts) but actual voice mails aren't showing up. Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way and don't need the voice mail integration on my phone, but I don't see another way to do this.
