Anyone use FreeBSD?

Yep, a bunch FreeBSD machines at my use. We have our web/file/mail servers, firewall and some desktop machines running FreeBSD. For a desktop use Celerons with 64MB memory have been sufficient in most cases. The servers are a bit more heavy duty with Pentium III's. Highly recommend checking out FreeBSD and what it has to offer.

Great, thanks for the info. I plan on setting it up outside my network DMZ style. Ill mess around with it as a DMZ host and try some packet filtering, routing and firewalling. After i become familiar with it i would like to use it as a file and web server. I think ill go with a P3 like you said. thanks again
