Does anyone use essential oils? Do you think that it's effective on you?
(if the function of that essential oil is to calming, do you really feel relax?!)

I just start using it. I found that it's very good to scent the rooms. :)

Wrong forum.

Anandtech is the place that you will get dozens of hits if ask question that is computer related. Hundred of hits in an hour if the question regarding women breast size, and thousands of tips on what a geek should do when presented in a room with naked cheerleaders.

However, the aromatherapy is what computer nerds call BO, sneakers smell, or when they pass gas.

I like using those infusers with the bowl over the candle. You gotta be careful to watch the levels of liquid or you get burned essential oils which is nasty.

My all time favorite was the old version of "Snow" from Body Shop -- it was like a vanilla/peppermint thing that smelled like Christmas. They changed it last year though and I don't like the new one.

My favorite smells which relax me the most are mint, vanilla, and eucalyptus.

I love bath and body works new aromatherapy. Especially Grapefruit peperment to wake up. I can't have candles in my dorm, but I have it in bath salts, massage oil, shower gel, and lotion :) but that's an "awake" scent.

They do have relaxing sents, and they are good as well. When I am stressed I would put one of those otions on my hands and feet, and laid down with soothing music, very nice!

Bahahaha

Anyway, essential oils can relax or invigorate you depending on the one you chose. Lavendar in the bath makes me sleepy. Something like lemongrass makes me feel more energetic.

BD (smells nice)

Yes, definalty go fot the bath stuff, casue it makes you smell of the sent, and the room as well. Most of the B&BW stuff smells good. They mix sents, and there aren't many pure ones, so it helps keep strong sents from being too strong.

I also used to use essecential oils in a clay ring on my lamps, just put a few drops in, and the room smells great, but you can turn th elight off, or remove the ring to clear the sent if you want.

I'm gonna go light my black flame candle that never seems to run out of wax or even melt any.. My weird aunt gave it to me. It always seems to smell like whatever I want to smell. Sometimes it's oranges.. sometimes cinnamin..

I wonder where she got it.
