I just received a request for communication and I found out I need to subscribe just to freakin reply! she's 1 yr older and same ethnicity/profession... what should I do?

Take the chance and subscribe?
Which option should I get if I do subscribe? This crap isn't cheap.

Holy crap that is expensive! Like sash1 said, you could just spend ~$20 at a bar and get results.

I've heard rumours that sometimes it's the staff at these websites posing as members.. they send you messages and the only way you can view/reply is to sign up. Don't know how much truth there is to it.. could just be a rumour.

My sister talked me into the eharmony thing last year so I filled out their profile but never did it b/c I found out how much it was. Shortly they will fill your inbox with all kinds of offers to join at a slightly discounted rate. Turns out that one of my sisters friend who did it ended up on like 12 bad dates in a row and discontinued. Other firends have tried the online thing and it was a wreck, but I actually know of 2 sucess stories.

One of my friends met his current wife on yahoo personals. It was due to common interest (skydiving).

This other girl I know is getting married this month from a catholic dating website.
 
keep in mind they send bogus responses so you sign up...I get them all the time from eharmony,match,true and I am not even a member lol

my favorite bar downtown. a jack/rum & coke costs $4 and it's 3ounces (2 shots). and the fact that I'm 130lbs makes it easy to get drunk 🙂 obviously some bars are going to be more. but $20 is a lot cheaper than $60 just to meet one woman.

I've been spending over $100 every other week at clubs.. usually for cover and buying my friends drinks too.

meh, you guys can make fun of me all you want. I met a really good woman on e-harmony. I guess I'm at that age where meeting quality women can be difficult.
