Until recently, I was using it quite actively, sharing something like 140GB of, um, stuff. If you're logged into the right hub, you can download a LOT of, um, stuff.

Yeah, I use this a lot. I frequent the site "www.tranceaddict.com", and they have their own private hub of just "Trance Music", and so it's pretty good. This is what I use 99% of the time.

I only use Kazaa for Video Clips (Triumph, SNL, etc.)

Honestly, WinMX has the BEST variety for files. If I could only get over that damn queuing or waiting long periods of times for files, then I would use that. (I know, it's free....but it just annoys the hell out of me.)

me too. DC kinda sucked. I ran a small hub for about a month before my bandwidth was too restricted. I was sharing MORE than the minumum (i usually shared at least 120gb of "stuff"), but everybody had only a couple slots open. It was too hard to DL from DC. I prefer kazaa lite anyday over ANY p2p.

that is what I was going to say, I just dont think you can be in more then one sever with out open'n the program again

I think he means you can't download parts of the same file from different people. On Kazaa it will find everyone with open slots who has the file, and then divide it up based on connection so you can dl it faster.

Direct Connect client, DC++. Allows for joining multiple hubs at one time and it auto re-connects once every minute or so if you are trying to get on a clogged hub.

I meant download the same file from multiple people at once. Like Edonkey or Kazaa.
