Wow, they blew it. Digg was semi-useful up until the v4 upgrade, now aside from the fact it barely works...

...it's just a lousy Twitter clone with less features than before. Fail!

Completely agree. Digg was fine before but now it is all about social networking and digging your friends stories. The world has enough social network sites

I dunno, it seems functionally the same to me. A list of "dugg" headlines and their comments sections. What's actually different about it?

The list of dugg headlines is what I liked about it, but since the update it's been hard to traverse and navigate. I liked the page by page navigation. The load more stories mostly just freezes on my computer and I can't get more than the first page.

To be honest - I don't particularly care whose ranking the stories how or whatever - I just want to see a list of popular sites pop up, some comments if I want them and the ability to move on to the next page.

The new interface has taken the part of Digg I like and made it a clunkier affair. It's about as stupid as the digg toolbar is.

Digg has always sucked. First it was a lame Slashdot clone, but then it eventually became a lame FARK clone.

yup, digg is fucked, for a few days now all high digg news points to reddit.

It's become the non-direct retaliation by the users. I hope it's working. I would be willing to bet a few from /b/ are involved.

I use stumbleupon. There is a social networking side to it but I hardly use that at all. It's just random Internet site goodness.

Well actually 50% or more of the sites suck but it's still really addicting, just have to click that stumble button .one .more .time. Good pr0n browser too ;)

I used Digg when it first came out. But abandoned it a couple years ago. v4 does't do anything to make me want to come back.

I used to love its role as a more juvenile slashdot for shooting the shit about random topics but after the submission hoarding, bickering, and the dreadful redesign, I struggle to navigate to the page anymore.

Reedit has the most atrocious interface this side of poorly-translated GUI overlay on a $50 Walmart DVD player and yet I still find myself choosing it over digg more and more.

Revision3 stuff is still good though.
