Yes, the bowl of cereal had milk in it...but it was lactose-free :p

I think i just have to wait for it to dry out or something.

But I gotta get up early for class tomorrow....someone recommend me a decent computer alarm?? Nothing fancy, just needs to make some noise, and I dont have mp3s for it to play. so built in sounds would be good.

Thanks...

Milk is not good for electronics at all, wouldn't be surprised if it was permanently dead.

I've never used a computer alarm, but Windows has all those start up Wavls, so you could always try those to play

Atnotes (like a post-it note for your desktop) has an alarm function, and it's free. Just make a note, right click and select alarm. Also check the settings because I think it goes off 15min ahead by default.

I have both versions of XP Plus so I just use the Plus Alarm clock when I want to wake up to music ... I suggest you hit Google & do a search for free PC alarm clock & take your choice.

Edit: The Citrus version linked above actually looks good & hopefully spyware-free.

I use this one. VERY reliable and ides itself in the task bar. You can use any audio format as the alarm.
