Anyone use Carrot Ink?!?

i might have to try that, my wife's HP 812C is so expensive to replace the cartridges, i have thought about just buying a new printer, the cost is almost the same

Their prices kill the retail prices for cartridges. Can anyone comment on their performance?

If your gonna buy cheap compatable cartridges, use MegaToners.com. They seem to be the cheapest overall.

However, compatable cartridges DO NOT print as well as the real stuff. In my experiences they tend to be a thinner/runnier quality ink, and you can notice the difference. They also leak more often, one pretty much leaked all over the inside of my Epson Photo 750. That being said, if you want good quality prints, stick with the real stuff.

Megatoners is nice and cheap, but the quality just isn't there if you are looking to make nice priints. That being said I only print pages for my own reference not for anything I would need to present. I would stick with the manufacturer cartridges if this were the case.
