Just got a new cell phone that has bluetooth and have been transferring files from my phone to my laptop. Thinking of getting one of those bluetooth USB adapters for my desktop.
Anyone have one/can recommend one? Any differences in manufacturers or are they all about the same?
I searched and think i found a post saying that it doesn't matter if it's USB 1.1 or 2.0 becasue bluetooth transfer is slower than the 1.1 standard anyway. Is that true?
What else do you use bluetooth for? ie. mouse/keyboard, ??????

Generic? SO it's got no name or you mean it's not one of the big names (iogear, kensington, dlink etc.)?
Where did you get it from and how much?

I use the microsoft and logitech ones that have come with my keyboard and mouse sets. Both work well, as good as the integrated on my ibm and dell laptops.
