Anyone use Audible.com?

I like audio books and normally buy them off iTunes for ten bucks a pop. I'm interested in getting a subscription service so I took a look at Audible.com. I figured it was like Netflix or Napster, but that doesn't seem to be the case:

The Audible Gold plan is $15 a month and gives you 1 credit a month. 1 credit = 1 audiobook. I don't get it. Is the subscription mostly for the discount?

Yes.
With Audible.com you are getting one book per month for the $15.
You can download that book as many times as you need, so unlike netflix where you return the movie with Audible the book is yours to keep.
If you signup do it through cruchfield as you can get a $100 gift card for signing up.

I have been with Audible for a few years and I like them.

Hmm...with iTunes it's like $9.99 per book. Doesn't really seem worth it to use Audible...

Check the price from Itunes, most books from them are $20-$40
I read mostly new non-fiction so the prices for the books your looking at might be lower.

Holy cow! :Q Prices have really skyrocketed over there...I have been buying audio books from iTunes for the past year or so, but I've been too busy to play with it much for the last month or two...dang!
