site isn't working, and neither is its news server

EDIT: so i can easily get on it using proxytheweb.com

so i think i might be getting blocked by Comcast.... can they just do that?
 
I bought 80 GB from them with no expiry date last November, and still have about 25 of those gigs left because I quit using them and changed to Easynews. I got sick of Astraweb's erratic (usually slow) speeds. It's unfortuate they are so slow because they are the only newsgroup service I know of where you can buy a fixed number of gigs at a time with no expiry date, and with no montly fees. Easynews is close though, they give you 20 GB per month for $9.95, and unused gigs rollover from month to month. If you go over 20 GB in 30 days, they just charge you another $9.95 when you run out and give you 20 more.

Alright well I just logged in to my Astraweb account using newsleecher and started downloading some headers, so no problems here.

EDIT: I was also able to access my member profile on their website with no problems.

I just fired up Grabit and am able to download headers just fine. Why don't you give Comcast a call and see if they can tell you anything.
