Anyone use Astaro Firewall

I am implementing a firewall for my company that has around 30 PCs and is in need of a fully functional firewall/proxy solution.

I was looking at Astaro to perform this task, but I have't got a whole lot of information about it. Does anyone out there use it? Do you like it? Is it secure?

I would invite anyone who has used this software to give any comment they deem useful.

Thankyou.

Astaro is not open source & I?m not familiar with it, but you might want to look into setting up an open source firwall " Smoothwall " that include a very nice web proxy "squid" tool. Smoothwall also support intrusion detection "snort" with reverse look up & organization that save time on reading log files.

Never heard of it. (And I do work in the security field)

Are you looking for a software solution (to run on a server) or a hardware solution?

OpenBSD (OpenBSD.org) or Linux are for you then. OpenBSD 3.0 comes bundled with the new pf (packet filter), 2.9 comes with IPF (Internet Packet Filter), and you can find IPF for OpenBSD 3.0 if you look hard enough. Its a great and easy OS. Linux with IPTables would also be a good solution.
