anyone use ad-aware plus?

its pretty cool. it definately works....but i dunno if it removes all the spyware. i think there are better programs out there

Works great for me.. although I have heard other peopel say that spybot picked up some stuff that adware didn't, and vice-versa

that does happen thats why i run both. i just use the normal free version of adaware and its fine. i like how you can make it scan within arcives and change teh level at which it searches.

adaware takes longer to run tho. spybot is relativily fast

Wouldn't you want it to take longer? If it just flies through, it kind of gives me the feeling it's not doing a thourough job
 
I use it along with spybot.. I like the fact that ad-watch catches stuff in real time, instead of removing it after the fact.

well i mean like 15 min long its just annoying sometimes. i got a lot of stuff to scan so its expected
 
The trouble with adwatch is it doesn't catch cookies. You end up having to do the manual scan anyway.
