I'm getting a new abit motherboard and was wondering if anyone had either the guru clock or panel to go along with it. If so do you find it to be a useful accessory? Furthermore does anyone have any recommendations as to whether the panel or clock is better. Thanks, Rob

I've had some issues. It's okay to use the software to monitor various parameters. I wouldn't use it to tweak the BIOS.

I bought the Guru Clock to go along with my AL8. The info on Abit's website says backlight is optional. Mine didn't come with a backlight and I don't see place where one could be mounted.

I had the uGuru panel with my AT8. I'd have to say anyone that has an ABIT mobo with uGuru capability would get use from it. You get all the Guru Clock functionality, the typical USB, Firewire, and front panel sound ports, but the thing I like the best was the front panel access to the CMOS reset. It's worth it's weight in platinum, especially for an overclocker who has a good sized video card or a few PCI cards in the way when it comes time to reset the CMOS after a botched OC attempt.
