Do you drive a truck without power steering where you need to turn the wheel around 700 times to turn?

I have a few disabled friends who have them in their vehicles. It lets them use their left hand to operate the hand controls for the gas & brake pedals. Sometimes I drive their cars and find the knob just gets in my way. Not super annoying or anything but I definitely wouldn't want one myself.

When I was a lad it was called a "suicide knob".
