yeah,

be sure to baste it alot with some flavored oil (i like to infuse rosemary into extra virgin olive oil) or whatever, and make sure you cook it LOW and SLOW.. cook it too fast and it will be dark on the outside, pink in the middle (mad sick)

Make a Gyro.... watch the Alton Brown episode about how to cook it up ;)
Basically take ground lamb and some spices, etc, and pulverize it...
cool it down in block form and use the rotiserrie attachment to cook it

 That sounds repulsive...

Anyway, OP, my dad has one on his grill (massive stainless unit with all the bells and whistles). When he makes a chicken on it, he injects it like duckdown suggests. My stepmom uses various seasoning combos that vary based on the side items she is going to prepare. Make sure to use an extremely low heat and cook it for many hours to make sure it is done all the way through.

The good propane BBQ's have a 'rotisserie burner" on the back that doesn't use direct heat at all. I'd love to try one of those sometime to make chicken. Yumm.

I have a separate rotisserie for chicken (makes an incredible roast too!)
Sometimes I use the smoker for chicken as well, but it takes too long.

I have a toaster oven with a rotiserrie and will never live without having it. The food that comes off that is so damn juicy and tender. I will make sure my next grill purchase will have it as well.
