Anyone use a peltier to cool water?

I have a 60watt peltier laying around and 2 extra waterblocks I could use (1 koolance original + thermaltake aquarius II). I was thinking of using the cool side to chill the waterblock and then having a heatsink attached to the hotside whilst water is passed through the waterblock. Anyone done anything similar? I have ordered a SPIRE RAPTORCOOL which uses an 80mm fan, I am thinking of attaching the fan to my case so that the heatsink is suspended and then thermal epoxing the other parts together.

Any comments!

the only problem with chilling the water below ambient is the condensation will build up on the hoses now so you'll have to insulate them too

My new PSU has a seperate power cable for 3 fans which controls the speed according to temps, if I use this with the peltier it should help keep the water at ambient.
