Anyone use a lightbox for SAD or Delayed Sleep Phase?

Is that one of those things that lets you know when you're dreaming by flashing lights in your eyes?

My roommate has seasonal factor disorder and has to look at hideously bright non-UV light for 45 minutes a day when the sun goes down.

Yeah, that's what I am wondering about. I am having to use one for delayed sleep phase. Hey, it really isn't that bright. :p

Seasonal Affective Disorder is more common than not up here in Alaska. Favorite cure after the lightbox is a trip to Hawaii in January.

:D In the book I read, it was said that many Alaskans vacation to Hawaii every year. I thought that was funny for some reason. I can see some of the natives on the sandy beaches :),

It's true. Here in Fairbanks, there is an outfit called Hawaiian Vacations. All they do is weekly charter flights to Hawaii, complete with vacation packages.
