Anyone use a digital cable filter before? Mods - this is a q&a forum...

first, this will get locked

second, don't waste your time with those filters. They will end up costing you sooner or later. It works by blocking the outgoing signal from your cable box, but eventually the company will investigate why your box isn't responding to their tests. You take the filter out one time, and it transmits everything you ordered that resides in it's memory to the company

Thanks for the info. I placed this filter on the other end of my digital box and intend not to use it for illegal purposes (such as not paying for PPV). Actually this filter used on the other end of the cable box acutally clears up some reception issues (Channels 2 - 13). If you don't believe me, just try it.

eh.... why don't you just get a signal booster which is not illegal.
