Anyone use a blade-type server for a parallel cluster?

I manage a few (soon to be a few more) parallel clusters. Currently they are either an array of towers, or a rack full of systems. I have been seeing "blade" servers from Compaq, IBM, etc. and I am wondering if I could run a Linux MPI cluster on a blade server full of processor cards. Anyone try it? Anyone know about compatibility? Anyone know what chipsets, etc. they use?
