I love it.... A little high on the amount of spam for my taste, but hey its only 3.95 a month (and its not the owner Gary's fault)... I reccomend them :)

It's been pretty good for me. I feel like I have more control and options with my web space. An excellent feeling for only $3.95 a month. :)

He said no private ip address in the FAQ's. So how does that work on your site?

i use it and love it... aphex- you get spam? i've never gotten any.

its really fast, reliable and easy to use. The no private IP adress just means that your website doesnt have a dedicated IP adress, it shares one with other sites on the server.. not sure how that works or how to explain it-- but it works fine and doesnt make a difference becuase nobody really has a need for a dedicated IP adress anyways.

Yea im up to about 15/20 spams a day now... I have my email account through 3-95 set to foward all my mail to my regular school email acct... Almost all the spam is routed through dixisys.com (where 3-95 is based out of)

I use them. Very fast and reliable so far. No spams either.

Go search the hot deal forums, there's a long thread going, with 300+ replies.

I just registered my .com this morning for $15/yr.
I might go with 3-95.com for my webhosting, but I think ReadyHosting looks like a better service. Anyone know where I can get more than 500 megs?

Nope, ive never even used the addy they send it to... Do you all have you mail set to foward it to another address?, or do you use the seperate pop3 account? Ive tried it both ways and still recieve spam...

When i look at the sources of the spam they usually say:

Received: from ns.ecintern.net ([211.172.232.165])
by www3.dixiesys.com (8.10.2/8.10.2) with ESMTP id g2BGGUY09132
for <xxxx@xxxx.com>; Mon, 11 Mar 2002 10:16:31 -0600

The xxxx@xxxx.com is an address that ive never given away.

Hot Deals Thread

I use them and the owner is a member here. Very cool guy and responded to my questions immediately. I'm going to move three other sites to him in the next six months. I've never had a poblem and my site has never been down which is a lot more than I can say for the other hosting services I use.....

fuzz....when you set up your email client (Outlook Express for example) and it asks you for the POP3 and SMTP addresses just use mail.<domain>.com
