So I am going to try this for a few weeks and see how it goes. It has been said it gives a person more confidence and that person appears more confident. I have been slouching quite a bit in recent years, both standing and sitting.

Anyone do this?

I've been told by girls that I seem more approachable and less cocky because I don't stand straight up.

Yup, girls love a slouch. I hear it all the time... slouch more, you look too confident. Its really a problem.

After only 3 years in the green machine I have never been comfortable slouching or not having my gig line perfectly straight.

I've been trying to minimize my slouching when I'm sitting. I sit on a couch when I'm on my comp, so it's too easy to slouch and my back started hurting after late night gaming sessions.

i constantly slouch. I work in a lab, and only interact with the same 4 people usually. This is probably not helping.

I slouch a lot. But I try to correct my posture whenever I can. I never thought I was doing a very good job of it, but in the past couple of months two people have commented that I have good posture so I guess it's working.

It's hardest to do when I'm sitting in an office chair or at a desk, my home and work desks both suck, basically can't sit straight for more than 4 minutes in either. Also on couches. I can sit up straight on a hard seat, like on the subway or rigid chairs at restaurants.

EDIT: I've been making an effort to keep good posture for probably a year now. Only lately am I finally feeling comfortable standing up totally straight. It's a huge difference; I feel taller when I do it too.

I would but my hip replacement doesnt let me put any weight on my right leg, so its kind of hard. Stuck in a goddamn wheelchair at 21.
