anyone try Wendy's new Jr. Smoky Cheddarburger ?

It's yummy. I had been avoiding Wendy's because their $1 menu burgers are getting nasty (too much too often I guess)... but I didn't have much of a choice last night.

Then I made the mistake of only getting one of these bad boys to try out. Along with what tastes like honey mustard sauce in the burger, it's awesome for like $1.29. Go have a few for lunch.

Mustard? I had been pondering it, but now I'll have to pass. When I first noticed it on the menu, the guy taking my order didn't know anything about it.

well I've been having a lot of the Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe which has sauce that tastes like cream of sum-yung-gai so this was a welcome change. Don't bash it till you try it.

uhh.. the sauce on the jr. bacon cheeseburger is mayo... the sauce on the jr. smokey is some sorta "smokey" sauce.. it's really not that good..

My favorite was the Cheddar Lover's Burger, I think it was a special but it tasted amazing

The Jr Value burgers at Wendy's are nasty. I'm just not into eating dried out burgers that have been sitting there after being cooked hours before.

at no point did i mention bacon. it's the other dollar menu burger. But you're right, it's probably really bad mayo.

They've run that as a special a few times, and I love it! Its been over a year since they have carried it, which is quite disappointing. It had a slice of cheddar and a cheddar cheese sauce (melted cheddar). I usually go at least once a day when they do carry them.

The burgers that are too well cooked are turned into chili meat. Most burgers are off of the grill within a max of approx 10 minutes of being placed on the grill (cooking -> keeping warm).

Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe is simply mayo and catsup. Jr Bacon Cheeseburger is just mayo. Jr. Smokey Cheddarburger is a special sweet and savory sauce.

PS. The Jr. Smokey Cheddarburger has been around for at the bare minimum 6 months. Wendy's is also running a promotional Montery Ranch Cheeseburger and Montery Ranch Chicken Sandwich. The sauce in that is a ranch sauce with bacon pieces in it.

It's a "Value Choice Menu," not a 99 cent menu.
