Anyone try gamesnflix.com?

They seem to have a larger inventory of movies than Netflix (28,000 vs 18,000) and they rent games for cheaper monthly fees as well. Anyone have experience with them?

I saw a commercial for them the other day while flipping through channels. The commercial was a bit too ghetto for me to take them seriously.

If they only have the one distro in Kentucky, it's going to take a while for people who live far from them. Netflix is great because it's so close to where I live. All they need is games and maybe some Pr0n 🙂

They say they have east and west coast distribution centers on their website, but dont list where they are located.

Agreed, have 1 day turnaround at Netflix now. Might give them a try if they build a distro center in NC

I must have missed this earlier:

The company has currently two distribution centers, Los Angeles, California and Franklin, Kentucky, with plans for an additional two to three more centers during 2004.

I noticed that most of the game rental place doesn't do PC's.... is there a reason?

Because the game is installed on the PC and also there is a high likelyhood of somebody copying the game since copy protection on PC games is pretty easily defeated.

But PS2 and XBOX are easily copied as well. Could just be that the PC game companies don't want to have their games available for rental.

Just clicked on games and their site links to VeeGeez which is another game site. Veegeez distro is in CA. Maybe games go through there and movies use the other sites. Lame...
