Somebody's been up late watchign infomercals ;)

edit:

a lot of the results are shown with big carbuerated engines, where you could talk to it nicely and rubs its belly and get better gasmilage.

The topic of this thread seems to resurface every few months, doesn't it? These things are junk, and should not be used..

Hurry up and buy that sucker now!

The auto makers and oil companies are gonna buy that company out and hide those things away along with the 100MPG carburetor.

No, because it isn't going to change the amount or direction of the air that is drawn around the intake valve/port.

My car has a tornado generator kinda thing in it. Doesn't seem to help gas mileage, though.

That's not a tornado generator, that's a haul-ass generator...

If that crap really worked the manufacturers would be putting them in as stock parts - its only a 50 cent piece of metal.

Spend the money on a case of synthetic oil instead.

Around a year or so ago Sport Compact Car magazine tested this thing out... they got ppl from the Tornado company to put in two of these (so they can be sure the installation was correct), one in an Acura Integra GSR and the other in an Eclipse... they then put both cars on the dyno and also tested the fuel economy...

In conclusion, that thing doesnt do jack! I think one of the cars actually lost power with it, and fuel milage did not increase at all on both cars...

These are dangerous. With the shoddy construction of the unit, it easily falls through the intake tube and lodges into the throttle body. If the throttle plate is wide open, it can get stuck in there and you have a stuck throttle. I'm surprised there hasn't been lawsuits about this yet.

I'm surprised, if it really worked, that the guy who invented the 100 MPG Carburetor, was not executed. The oil companys will not stand for this and they are very powerful. Auto manufacturers have the technical information to exceed the current average MPG's by far more than they let on. There are some very powerful and very rich people, who have direct interests, who simply cannot let this happen. :|
