Anyone try 100proofnews as their usenet service?

No idea. Unlimited for $9/month is a great deal. I pay $15 for usenetserver. Try it and let us know.

Looked them up a bit. Seems they have a bad reputation. Shoddy service and retention. I'd skip them.
 
I also use Usenetserver. 1 month worth of retention and almost everything is complete. The largest groups now have over 10 million headers.
 
i've tried them before and the service is horrible. it's been a while but i remember the speed being crap and having very poor retention

I use them also. Great service so far. When they had a power outage, they posted on the webpage that they were running around shutting off monitors to make the UPS power last longer to keep the webpage up. How can you not like a company like that? 🙂
 
I tried 100 proof a while back. It was terrible. Right now I use Astranews, it's $10 for 26GB to use whenever you want. They also have unlimited plans but I didn't want to pay every month if I wasn't using it enough. I use 5 connections at once and get awesome speeds.
