The change at Berkeley should be easy , Just change to another e-mailadress , BUT what about the installation
on all the people that are currently running Seti for our MiniTeAm ???

Do they have to do a complete re-install ?? OR what !!!

We're running the CLI via SetiDriver and SetiSpy as a sidekick 😉

( could this be the time to push the "New Client" button in SetiDriver ??? )

This could really be important , cause if it's too complicated some of the MiniTeAm members might just drop out 🙁

With decreased Wu average as a result 🙁

It's easy to do 🙂

You only need the email for the very first install on a machine. After that, everything is done via the UserID (numeric string). Emails are only used because they're easier to remember for us humans, everything computer related with Seti is done via the numbers 🙂

So you can easily change the email address, and it won't affect the other users at all 🙂

Confused

I think the "New Client" is for when S@H comes out with a new version of the CLI. :Q

Once a client connects to Berkeley for the first time it receives your unique ID number which is stored in your user_info.sah file.

Any future connections reference this number so you can freely change your email address without it upsetting your current clients however all of the members of your miniteam will need to be told the new address for when they sign up new clients.

/EDIT - well who would've thought it, you wait an hour for a reply then 3 come along at once
