Anyone know how credible it is? I ran it last night for a while and it kicked uo an error after 8000% and several dozen cycles, which according to their doc's any error means I have bad ram and it should be replaced, or the memory timings should be lowered. Anyone tried it?
Memtest86 seems to be the most thorough memory tester. It tends to find errors when other tests don't. Most of the people here will recommend it when asked.
I've never heard of the one you linked. Try using Memtest86 (run all eleven tests and let it loop a few times) and see if it also finds errors.
I've RMA'd RAM before and when I tell them that it's failed Memtest86 they just give me an RMA number, no questions asked. It seems to have some cachet in the industry too.
