It came with my retail XP 2400+. I was thinking of This
and then adding an Thermaltake Smart Case Fan 2

Has anyone tried the heatsink and what did it preform like?
 
I'd try a silent boost,as you would see a huge difference without having to buy an adapter and SFII.
The smart fan II also works great with ducting mod and silent boost HS, I can tell you 😉
 
I'd only have to buy the adapter and and I have a couple SF2 kicking around.
And from what I read I thought the Ducting Mod would work good. On 2 different heatsinks there was NO difference it temps or any quieter. Only thing the Ducting Mod works for is decoration, but it does a good job of that for $10 canadian.
 
The ducting mod made a huge improvement for me as it helped me to take fresh air much better.
