Anyone tried the xbox 360 controller with the allegedly better D pad?

I doubt it's actually better. The main difference is that it supposedly recognizes 32 directions instead of 8.

The problem with the d-pad isnt the number of directions it can recognize, especially when games are coded to recognize 8. The problem is the shape and structure of the pad itself, where its more of a circle with raised directions rather than 4 independent directions with sony or nintendo. Looking at that controller, the shape is the same, so it'll probably be just as bad.

Americans dont care about soccer, and this soccer game is the only game that seems to support the new d-pad, so there's unless you're a soccer fan, youre not missing out on anything.
