So the point is that you point this think to a resistor that is specified by a schematic for a spesific video card and since the device it attached to a screw on the - which is naturally grounded -- the resistor value is then dramatically lowered thus increasing the voltage going to the chip...
i have my 8800-GTS-512 overclocked as per my sig - i have gone 10-+15% higher than that but it was sporadically unstable, so who has stable numbers i can compare to to see how much hiigher this card can go ?
also aside from bios flashing and volt modding anyone tried this little mod to push their cards further ?
i have spoken to this gentleman and he says the extra heat generated is only 7-10C, The mod can be applied to SLI but its only available for nVidia cards - ATI is in development stage...he says its sturdy and will not short out anything ... seems kind of a cool NEW mod i can do right ????????
