Anyone tried the new RedHat & Mandrake betas? What's the (preliminary) verdict?

I know, I know...they're not finished products yet and all that jazz. I just want to see what your impressions are so far, as the new RedHat is supposed to be much better for the end-user and the new Mandrake is...well...a new version of Mandrake.

I am currently running Mandrake 9 Beta 3 in VMware on both Mandrake 8.2 and in WinXP and it looks and acts very nicely. I have not done anything wierd with it yet, however, standard services are appearing very stable and running pose (palm pilot emulator) runs great with no apparent problems. KDE 3.03 looks schweet!

Yeah, I admit that I preferred KDE 3 to the Gnome interface in the earlier beta...but I still want to try Gnome 2
